Having been a teacher in the Lebanon public school system for over 30 years at both the junior and senior high levels, Nancy Stokes demonstrates a high level of commitment to the educational development of her students. She has a vast array of experience in a variety of sports coaching volleyball, track and field, and basketball. She has taught adult education classes for 25 years. Mrs. Stokes is also an active member of White Oak Pond Presbyterian Church where she teaches an adult Sunday school class and is a member of the choir. She holds a Master's degree from Southwest Missouri State University in Business Education. Her commitment to martial arts training is of an equal standard. As a student of Roger Moore, she diligently progressed through the ranks of Tae Kwon Do and currently holds a 4th Dan in that system. Likewise, she holds the rank of 4th Dan in the Ernie Reyes World Martial Arts Association and is a 1st Dan in Judo. She has trained in Jeet Kun Do, grappling, Kali, and Silat under Marc McFann and Terry Gibson. She participated in and assisted Roger Moore with SHARP training (Sexual Harassment, Assault, and Rape prevention) for the local community. She has achieved national honors in Tae Kwon Do and qualified for the National Tae Kwon Do Olympic Team. Married to Michael Stokes for 27 years, their son, Jonathon, has followed in her footsteps with a 2nd Dan in Tae Kwon Do.
