Our Tae Kwon Do is for everyone. Classes are open to men, women, youth, parents, and grandparents from 10 years
young to 80+ years old. Everyone can benefit physically and mentally from the study of this martial art. All students progress according to their own individual rate of achievement. There is no set timeline that a new student must achieve. If they
need more time to learn the curriculum, we take the time to make them feel comfortable with it before progressing to the next step.
- Classes run from 45 minutes to 1 hour in length
- Every class is lead by a master level instructor
- Assistant black belt instructors are also available to maintain low student to teacher ratios
- Emphasis is on kicks thrown from a moving stance with blocks, punches, and open-handed strikes
- Various take-downs, sweeps, throws, and joint locks are also utilized
- Pressure points, known as jiapsul, as well as self-defense techniques from other arts, such as Silat and Yudo
