Our Warrior Kids Program (Ages 7-9) is a preparatory course to enable your child to easily and readily integrate into our Tae Kwon Do or BuJutsu programs. Students will learn basic Tae Kwon Do fundamentals to include: basic stances, kicks, punches and strikes, combinations, and forms.
In addition, students will also learn the fundamentals of grappling: positions, counters, and finishes, all in a safe and controlled environment.
- A typical class lasts 30 minutes and meets 3 times a week
- This is a high energy class lead by a master level instructor
- An assistant black belt instructor and other assistants help with every class keeping the teacher to student ratio at or near 4 to 1
- Students progress to new belt ranks on an average of every 4 months

Our classes also work to develop greater self discipline, teamwork, good manners, improved behavior, physical fitness, and the ability to set and achieve goals.
Your child will progress through 10 basic areas of martial training.
- Tenets of Tae Kwon Do - Basic principles of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, and indomitable spirit
- Terminology - Basic Korean and Japanese terms as they apply to martial arts training
- One steps and Partner Drills - Controlled drills to develop speed, distancing, and timing
- Multi-Strike Techniques - Counters and takedowns designed to disable an attacker
- Wrist Locks - Applications of various joint locks
- Falls - Correct falling techniques to minimize injury if someone takes you to the ground
- Throws - How to make them go to the ground instead
- Self Defense - Effective ways to avoid or survive an attack
- Grappling techniques, defenses, positions, flow drills - What to do if someone pins you to the ground
- Forms - Formal exercises to develop posture and technical skills
